If you’re a Philippine passport holder planning to visit China, understanding the visa requirements and application process is essential. Personal Visa Basic Requirements

1. Passport

   • Original passport valid for at least six months with at least one blank visa page.

   • Photocopy of the passport’s information/photo page and emergency contact page.

2. Visa Application Form

   • Fill out and sign the Chinese Visa Form 2013 truthfully.

   • Do not leave any field blank; use "N/A" if a question does not apply.

3. Photo

   • Recent color photo (front view, white background, 48mm x 33mm).

   • Photo must be glued to the application form (stapled/taped/clipped photos will not be accepted).

4. Travel Documents

   • Travel itinerary.

   • Airline ticket reservation.

   • Hotel reservation.

   • Invitation letter from China (if applicable).

Additional Requirements

If You Have a Previous Chinese Visa：

• Submit a photocopy of the previous visa.

• If the visa is on an old passport, submit the old passport as well.

First-Time Chinese Visa Applicants：

• Financial Documents:

  • Bank certificate with six months' bank statements.

  • Employment certificate (stating salary and length of employment).

  • BIR-stamped income tax return form.

  • Business owners must provide business registration documents and latest ITR.

  • Professional or student ID (if applicable).

  • Any other document proving financial capability for travel to China.

Visa Application Process

1. Submission

   • Apply in person or authorize someone (with an authorization letter) or a travel agency to submit the application.

   • No appointment is required.

   • Mail applications are not accepted.

2. Interview Requirement

   • You may be required to appear for an interview at the Chinese Embassy if deemed necessary by the visa officer.

1. Fees (in Philippine Pesos)

• Single Entry: PHP 1,400

• Double Entry: PHP 2,100

• 6-Month Multiple Entry: PHP 2,800

• Over 6-Month Multiple Entry: PHP 4,200

2. Processing Time

• Regular Service: 4 working days.

• Express Service (3 Days): Additional PHP 1,100.

• Rush Service (2 Days): Additional PHP 1,700 (not applicable for first-time applicants).

*Note: Payment is made in cash upon passport collection.
